Garden Story Time on Monday moved indoors, but that didn’t mean we weren’t going to check out the garden. In fact, with this heat wave, I made sure we watered the garden.

Before Garden Story Time, there is some prep to be done so watering goes quickly on a hot day like today. Imagine my surprise when I pulled out the big bucket for water and saw something in it. What was it? A SLUG. I have no idea how it got in to where the buckets are but I did move it before I filled the bucket with water.
